Right Reverend Dr. Setorwu Kwadzo Ofori, Moderator of the Global Evangelical Church (GEC) has dedicated a Toyota Hiace Mini Bus for the Global Theological Seminary (GTS) to ease their transportation needs.
The 14 seater bus was purchased at an estimated cost of One Hundred and Eighty Four Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵184,000) through their Internally Generated Funds (IGF) and Funds Raised through various stakeholders.
The Moderator commended the Seminary authorities for their dedication to duty and tasked them to maintain the bus so it would last long.
Rev. Dr. Komi Hiagbe, the Rector of GTS, expressed his gratitude to God, the Executive and the entire membership of the church for their numerous supports that have made it possible for them to acquire the bus.
He said, the bus was the maiden vehicle that the Seminary owned after over two decades of its existence.
Dr. Hiagbe said, the bus has come at a good time when the Seminary has begun its missions projects as part of its training.
“The bus would facilitate the general mobility of the seminary and would be useful for our missions’ assignments in particular,” he said.
